This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions. Participants can facilitate the group with prior arrangement with Rodger Sorrow

Une journée par mois pour pratiquer la Communication NonViolente sur des sujets qui vous tiennent à cœur. Ces journées s’adressent aux personnes ayant déjà participé à deux jours d’introduction à la CNV. Le travail est orienté essentiellement vers des situations concrètes de la vie quotidienne des participants et les thèmes abordés le sont en fonction des demandes de chacun.

Develop your skills, range of styles and confidence facilitating groups  

·          Explore what it means to hold the energy in a group, how to do this, and what needs this meets 

·          Develop awareness and subtlety in how you coach others on the Dance Floors  

·          Share your insights and ideas about ways you use the Dance Floors

This is a 2-day non-residential foundation training in NVC. Our aim is to support you to acquire a clear basic understanding of the NVC process and how you can use it in your daily life - in personal, social or work situations. We intend to do this by outlining the main elements of NVC and providing opportunities for you to practice expressing them in different contexts - out loud, through writing and through role-play in small groups of 2 or 3. We see this course as providing a 'foundation' for you, so that you can progress with NVC in your daily life and in further trainings if you so desire. This workshop provides skill building towards applying the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) mediation process to conflict in all types of situations -- from legal to business and organizational, to personal relationships. A monthly class based on the principals of NVC as applied to parenting. This group meets on Sept 10, Oct 1, Nov 5 and Dec 3 for the remainder of 2008. This is an on-going group and new participants are warmly welcomed. Integration of NVC into daily life is a focus as well as a compassionate, supportive atmosphere. Join us for a night away from home each month where you can enjoy the company of other parents, have fun and return home with new skills to support you and your family.
