This
day will be devoted to exploring how we can use NVC to improve the
quality of our communication with our children. There will be an
opportunity to share our joys and sorrows arising from our attempts to
communicate more 'care-fully' with them, a chance to look at some of
the theory expressed by Marshall Rosenberg and other NVC trainers
concerning parenting, and time to practice doing it differently! This day is suitable for parents and for people who interact with children in their work environment.  Daren
will lead this day - he has been sharing NVC in schools for 5 years.  His 16 year old son has also taught him a lot about how
to use NVC with young people!

A monthly class based on the principals of NVC as applied to parenting. This group meets on Sept 10, Oct 1, Nov 5 and Dec 3 for the remainder of 2008. This is an on-going group and new participants are warmly welcomed. Integration of NVC into daily life is a focus as well as a compassionate, supportive atmosphere. Join us for a night away from home each month where you can enjoy the company of other parents, have fun and return home with new skills to support you and your family.

Cet exercice de couple sur 3 jours entiers focalise sur les fondements du couple: vision, mission, valeurs, objectifs, engagements. 

À travers la conscience de la CNV, à l'aide d'exercices créatifs et de jeux, par l'entremise de l'écoute empathique et de l'expression authentique, chaque couple aura l'occasion d'élaborer sur ses zones de communs accords - quant au rôle que joue le couple dans leur vie, quant aux besoins et aux aspirations qu'on vise à combler à travers la stratégie du couple.

Learn and practice skills for creating and sustaining intimate relationships of all kinds.  This engaging, interactive workshop will include experiential exercises to practice listening to others with a heart of empathy, expressing yourself honestly even in trying circumstances, and how to be a fully authentic and powerful communicator.  Ideal for:
* couples
* parents with challenging relationships with their children,
* children with challenging relationships with their parents, and
* anyone who wishes to create connection with people in a more meaningful and intimate way.

FEE REQUEST:  $125 to $75 based on ability to pay; some scholarships are available.  We request a $50 deposit postmarked by July 7 to reserve your space, and help us plan.

On this residential training we will practise how to self-empathise as a way to get clarity before expressing yourself and to be honest and authentic in the following ways:

• How to say 'Yes' and 'No' in a way that invites people to listen
• Staying in touch with myself and the other person in a close relationship
• Receiving "No!!!" with empathy
• How to hear the 'Yes' behind the 'No'

Fee: $375, including accommodation in comfortable, shared bedrooms and simple, tasty, vegetarian food. Early signup discount $340 if received by October 10, 2008. If you find it difficult to imagine coming for financial reasons, we are happy to negotiate this amount.

Vi utforskar vi hur vi kan ”göra kärlek”, så att ”jag älskar dig” inte bara blir ord, utan även möjligt att leva? Att öppet och varsamt uttrycka vad som pågår i oss och samtidigt ta emot den andra med medkänsla, är ett sätt att odla kärlek i en relation.

Our OVERALL VISION is to live in NVC consciousness with
our families and each other in a community setting.  Family Camp is a
place where everyone’s needs matter: - playing - learning - growing -
loving...  It is a place to explore the realm of compassionate strength
and connection.

By offering each other our presence and empathy we
will dip into what it’s like to live in a world where the intention is
to contribute to the quality of connection  necessary to meet
everyone’s needs.  We will explore how we are living NVC with
ourselves, our children/youth and each other, with the intention of
deepening our ability to integrate NVC into our daily lives and to
build community with other families. We carry the hope that you will be
able to extend your experience at the camp into your daily lives by
fostering the connections you have made.
