Now we are pleased to present a complete weekend NVC Conference with introductory, intermediate and in-depth sessions.

The weekend begins with keynote addresses by leading internationally-recognized trainers brought in from around the US: Jori & Jim Manske,  Jeff Brown, Kit Miller, Barbara Larson and Doug Dolstad. They will join several popular local Certified NVC Trainers such as Rodger Sorrow, Liz Otterbein and others for breakout seminars and workshops. Times and topics for these sessions will be developed dynamically during the conference to ensure that participants will have an opportunity to explore the topics of greatest interest. Topics will range from introductory to advanced and specialized, with ample opportunities for interaction and dialog. Further details will be made available in free flyers and online as the date approaches.

If you have ever attended an NVC event or class, this is a rare opportunity to dramatically expand and deepen your knowledge and skills. If you are not familiar with NVC but would like to express yourself more fully and easily, be sure to attend this event and discover the power of communicating compassionately.

Course Description:

Do you have something important to say and
lack the confidence and/or the language that would support you in its
delivery? Is the language you're using too narrow, too flat, too
confining to wholly encompass and accurately convey the fullness and
richness of your message? Is there an authenticity gap between what you
wish to say and what you finally end up saying? Perhaps your message is
packaged as a grievance and carries a negative charge. Or perhaps you
struggle to grasp the richness of the message yourself even though you
know intuitively that there's a positive element at its core. If only
you could access it and convey it with confidence and clarity. If only
you could deliver it in a way that would be authentic and
representative of what's important to you while also touching and
inspiring others.

This one day workshop will
provide tools to participants to examine messages they wish to convey,
their underlying motives and to then reconstruct their messages for
maximum positive impact.

Course Description:

Anger is powerful force. When we find ourselves in its grips, our heart rate
increases significantly, a fog comes over us and we usually find
ourselves being highly reactive with little regard for the
consequences. Later once we’ve cooled off, we often berate ourselves
for our behaviour. The cycle continues and we rarely get to the root of
it. Yet every angry expression is a tragic expression of an unmet need.
In this session, participants will explore the needs at the root of all
anger. They will then use a proven process that will equip them to
transform this raw emotion into a healthy and generative force as
opposed to toxic and destructive one.
